    I LOVE JEFF!
And if it was Jeff that was the reason that Melbourne were playing so well, perhaps Melbourne should hire him as coach as he has got a lot of better performance out of that list then Sooky, sooky Dean Bailey!

    Jeff Kennet is a moron.
He shut down Primary Schools, Technical Schools and High Schools.
He waisted endless amounts of cash on a stupid race that only corporates go to.
He closed hospitals, reduced funding to essential mental health services then had the audacity to front Beyond Blue.
He has already sold 5 games to Tassie – and he loves privatisation – the minute the Hawks face trouble it will be 7 games… then 9… then 11… then…
    THE TASSIE HAWKS!
At least the Demons still play at the ‘G’, regardless of how many people show up.

    Alice,
The comments about privatisation and the Hospital is fair, even the schools.
(this next comment could be looked at as supporting Jeff, and it is but it is more whacking the current government tactics)
Don’t think that the current Government isn’t trying to close schools it is just that they are doing it a way that puts them in a better light. They have made a policy that says that they won’t shut/merge schools unless the school community votes for it. What they don’t say is that they threaten to only give the schools minimum funding and not keep them in mind for future grants if they don’t close or merge. This is happening at a school that I am invovled with. The school has been stable for years and in fact is a leader in the area for literacy (including National awards in the last two years!). At least Jeffs government (much like Jeffs presidentship of the Hawks) was them taking the blame for things and them doing what they thought was right even if others don’t like it!
