Chris Judd wants to play for Carlton
Well, it’s official - Judd wants to be a Blue. After keeping us on the edge of our seats and only yesterday narrowing it down to Carlton and the Pies - Judd wants in at Princess Park.
I guess we aren’t dealing with brain surgeons when it comes to footballers - but if you had a choice between playing for (a) a club that hasn’t played finals since the year you were drafted to the AFL or (b) a club that was 5 points away from a Grand Final appearance 10 days ago - where would you go?!?!
Perhaps the Captaincy was the sealer???

Would that be Princes Park Paul? Sorry to be picky - so here’s a bit of Princes Park Trivia ……….
Princes Park hosted the Finals Series (including the Grand Final) in 1942, 43 and 45. (The 1944 series was held at the Junction Oval). The MCG was being occupied at the time by the Air Force.

West Coast are playing hard ball. They want Carlton’s pick 1 (Kruzer) but the Blues refuse to give it up, feeling pick 3, 20 and Josh Kennedy is more than enough. Surely they will settle but in the unlikely event that he is nominated in the draft, the Tigers might still have a chance. If Carlton take Kruzer at 1, they can pick him up with the next selection… The plot thickens.
